Introduction 1.1 Purpose: These terms and conditions outline the rights and responsibilities of clients and practitioners using our platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

Definitions 2.1 Platform: The website and mobile application operated by Book Holistic for the purpose of booking holistic services. 2.2 Client: Any individual using the platform to book services provided by practitioners. 2.3 Practitioner: Any individual or entity offering holistic services through the platform.

User Registration and Account Management 3.1 Eligibility: Clients must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents or legal guardians can book sessions for their children through their own accounts. Practitioners must be legally eligible to provide the services they offer. 3.2 Account Information: Clients and practitioners must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Any changes must be updated promptly to ensure continued accuracy. 3.3 Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Any unauthorized use of accounts should be reported immediately to the platform for security purposes. 3.4 Practitioner and Client Exclusivity Practitioners are strictly prohibited from taking clients "out" of the platform to arrange bookings or provide services independently. All bookings and services must be conducted through the platform to ensure proper management and security. Any practitioner found attempting to engage clients outside of the platform, or encouraging clients to book services outside the platform, will be considered in breach of this agreement. Such breaches may result in immediate termination of the practitioner’s account and removal from the platform.

Service Bookings and Payments 4.1 Booking Process: Clients can book services directly through the platform. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the practitioner. 4.2 Payment Terms: Payments are processed securely through the platform. Clients must provide valid payment information at the time of booking. 4.3 Payment will be processed at the time the booked session takes place. 4.4 An additional service fee of €1.85 will be charged for each booking, along with the practitioner's set service price. 4.3 Refund Policy: Refunds are issued according to the platform’s refund policy. Clients should request refunds within a specific time frame from the date of the appointment.

Cancellations and Rescheduling 5.1 Client Cancellations: Standard Notice: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a fee. Fees for Late Cancellations: If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee up to 50% of the service cost may apply. No-Show Policy: Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice may be charged the full service amount. 5.2 Practitioner Cancellations: Emergency Cancellations: Practitioners may cancel or reschedule appointments in emergencies. Clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered a refund or rescheduling. Repeated Cancellations: Practitioners who frequently cancel without valid reasons may be subject to penalties, including possible removal from the platform. 5.3 Rescheduling: Clients are allowed to reschedule their sessions up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. If the request to reschedule is made less than 24 hours prior to the session, only cancellation is possible. Practitioners can not reschedule, only cancel.

Service Quality and Professional Conduct 6.1 Service Standards: Practitioners must provide services in accordance with professional standards and relevant laws. Services should be performed with due care, skill, and diligence. 6.2 Client Interaction: All interactions with clients must be respectful and professional. Practitioners are expected to maintain a high standard of conduct. 6.3 Feedback and Reviews: Clients are encouraged to provide feedback and reviews based on their experience. Practitioners are expected to respect all feedback and use it to improve their services.

Insurance Requirements 7.1 Mandatory Coverage: Practitioners must maintain adequate liability insurance to cover any claims related to the services provided. Proof of insurance must be provided upon request. 7.2 Client Information: Practitioners must inform clients about the insurance coverage for services, including whether services are fully covered, partly covered, or not covered by their insurance.

Client Safety and Privacy 8.1 Data Protection: The platform ensures client data is handled securely in compliance with GDPR and other relevant laws. Clients have rights to access, correct, or delete their data. 8.2 Confidentiality: Practitioners must maintain client confidentiality and privacy. Any breach of privacy or misuse of client data is strictly prohibited.

Dispute Resolution 9.1 Dispute Process: In case of disputes between clients and practitioners, the platform provides a mediation process. Both parties are expected to participate in good faith. 9.2 Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute may be escalated to binding arbitration as per the platform’s policies.

Termination 10.1 By Platform: The platform reserves the right to terminate a user’s account for breaches of these terms and conditions. 10.2 By User: Users may terminate their accounts at any time, subject to any outstanding obligations.

Amendments to Terms 11.1 Modification of Terms: The platform reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law 12.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.
