Service description
In this bodywork session, we focus on releasing stress and trauma stored in the psoas muscle, located in the hips. By engaging in targeted exercises, we gradually build tension in the legs, leading the body into a natural trembling response. This tremor activates the nervous system's capacity to release stress and tension, allowing the body to complete stress responses from unresolved past events. The session is structured in three parts. First, we activate the trembling reflex to engage the psoas and fascia, which enables the body to release stored stress. This stage signals the nervous system to process and move through any lingering fight-or-flight responses. Next, we create space for any emotions that may surface, such as anger, sadness, grief, or guilt, as these are often released when the body lets go of sympathetic (stress) energy. The session’s goal is to provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment where all emotions are welcomed and honoured. Through this process, you’re invited to explore and express a full range of emotions, uncovering subconscious patterns and addressing unexpressed feelings stored within the body. By allowing these emotions to surface and be expressed, the body restores balance, releasing stress and creating more inner space and resilience.
